Born and Raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Dave Price was steeped in great architecture before he knew anything about it.  Before graduating in 1992 from the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech, Dave had the opportunity to complete a year of advanced studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and made the most of it; striking a deal with the owner of his Le Marais apartment to renovate over the summer.  It was the first of many construction and renovation projects Dave would build over weekends while working at small residential design firms during the week.  In 2000, Dave put down his hammer and founded Price Residential Design, since then he has designed over a hundred new home and renovation projects, from classic houses in historic Druid Hills to Brookhaven Modern homes and Buckhead mansions, along with additions to take advantage of the views of the NC mountains and a beautiful new beachfront home in Florida.  Dealing with thickets of regulation is a specialty brought about by over 25 years of experience designing single family homes.  Along with his wife Gail, Dave has developed and sold 6 new homes so he knows the business from every angle.
